We’re still all wrapped up in house purchase things — we were supposed to settle Thursday, and then it was going to be yesterday, and now it’s MAYBE going to be Monday but we’re not sure…well, you get the idea. It’s been very frustrating and a totally encompassing project, but in the meantime, we did manage to get a week in Myrtle Beach, SC thanks to the generosity of my parents, and while there I visited Knitting Up A Storm, where I purchased the yarn and book for “Lapwing” from Rowan Little Knits:
Kidsilk Haze. YUM.
Progress on SarahScott’s wedding shawl continues slowly, but hopefully not TOO slowly as it’s got to be done before the Halloween wedding date.
For the moment, that’s all I’ve got to share; I really do hope to be back with a vengeance after this house purchase has been done. Updates as they occur!
